With a week off between Christmas and New Years, the Captain and I aimed to squeeze as much skiing in as possible. We made a plan to return to one of the most memorable resorts we skied in 2016: Revelstoke. With a MAX pass in our pockets, we also decided to swing a few days at Kicking Horse to see what the fuss was about. We were treated to two powder days at Revelstoke, including one day filled with champagne powder and laps with the best of company. While lower mountain conditions at KH were less than ideal, we had one excellent day lapping the upper lift. The verdict is out on whether KH is worth leaving Revvy, but those alpine, high ridge views would be hard to beat!
